Darcel joined the Maryland Broadband Cooperative in 2006 as its second staff member, just a few short months after its creation. Darcel currently serves as MdBC’s Accounting Clerk where she is responsible for accounts receivable, accounts payable, employee benefits, and payroll. Darcel has a very diverse background in the mortgage and financial field where she has served as a customer service representative, a mortgage loan specialist and ultimately as a mortgage loan officer for one of the largest lenders in the country.
Darcel enjoys reading nonfiction, all types of music, fishing and swimming all while spending time with her husband Phil, two adult daughters Julie and Kristi and her 3 year old granddaughter Olivia.
