Robert Thompson joined the Maryland Broadband Cooperative in July of 2007. Rob currently holds the position of Vice President of Construction and is tasked with the planning, engineering and implementation of the company’s network. He also oversees the network operations of the Cooperative.
Rob is an elected member of the Delmar Town Council, holds positions on the Delmar Utilities Commission, and the Delmar Planning and Zoning Committee. Robert is an active member of the Delmar Fire Department and has been active in other local fire departments since 1984, including serving as the former Chief of the Hebron Fire Department.
In his off time, Rob enjoys camping and RVing and spending time with his wife Christina and children, Tyler and Shaina.
